To build a form/structure, I am using metal studs attached to an existing wall. This could be a framed wall, drywall or stucco. I bend the metal studs randomly and attach them to the existing wall creating protrusions and outcroppings in whatever shape I wish. I attach the metal studs using screws or nails. I then wrap over the metal studs with a double layer of stucco lath creating the shapes of the rocks in a bit more detail. I use 2 layers so the splatter won’t blow through the lath paper.
I’d like to know how you make the forms also, that plays the biggests factor in my purchase because I have animals I would love to build structures for but without HOW to build the forms themselves having one of these is like having a toy you cant play with, can you accomadate us on this?
