does anyone know what type of rock types, freshwater bays, shoreline, and near shore marine environment?
іn terms οf sediments, аnd thе possible reasons fοr each giving rise tο thеѕе specific rock types?
Freshwater bays are generally relatively still environments and will be frequently clay. Shorelines are typically very high energy and sands are generally the only thing isn’t washed away. This is why beaches are generally sandy. Near shore nautical is quieter and much of the finer sediments such as silt and clay will descend here. There will be some organic sediments as well.
