Failure has an astonishing amount of power. When you fail or make a mistake, it’s not that you necessarily learn more but you learn it hard. By failing, you get at least a bit of a sting. The harder it stings you, the more you remember that mistake.
There are some mistakes I make that I keep making and they are the painless ones. I not remember them and repeat them. But when a mistake hurts, you bet your ass I won’t do it again.
