How can I dispose of landscaping rocks?
I live іn Dallas. Next tο mу driveway I hаνе 4 ft x 18 ft x 3 іn οf rocks thаt wеrе white аnd decorative back іn 1982. Now I’d lіkе tο gеt rid οf аll οf thеѕе rocks аnd dο something еlѕе wіth thе area, bυt i’m аt a loss. Hοw саn I gеt rid οf аll οf thеѕе rocks without putting 30 lbs іn mу trash саn еνеrу trash day? Anу thουghtѕ wουld bе greatly appreciated.
try posting an ad on craigslist. com it is free and there is a part for free stuff. place an ad in there and tell people to come and get em if they want them. You’d be surprised how many responses you will get!!
Make a sign that says “Free to anyone willing to remove”. Post it by the rocks. People are always looking for stuff like that-esp when it is free. That should be the simplest & quickest.
Another plotting. My local newspaper has a part in the classifieds where you can run your ad free if your selling price is less than $100. You may possibly run an ad, that would let you control who was on your property but you may get tired of phone calls (if you are lucky).

Gosh, I need some!! Too terrible you live so far, or I would surely pick them up. I agree- place a sign: FREE ROCKS- they will be gone in less than a week!
Join a freecycle group in your area.

Post a message after you’re usual as a limb and someone will come and get them. Everything has to be free. You may find something for free that you may need as well.
One of two things can be done with these…Save them in a large container to be used for something later on like adding drainage to an area or use them for under your downspouts to prevent washout.
Or
Run an ad in the paper stating, “Free white landscape rocks, you collect” and your number. Make it a stipulation that they have to clean them out of your yard for you and they can have them and I’m sure someone will be more than pleased to take them off your hands.
