How can I remove all the rocks from what I want to be a sandy beach?

I own a lake house and on the beach, there are LOTS of rocks. I need to find a way to get all the rocks out of the sand so that there’s nothing left BUT sand. I don’t want it to take for ever. That means no picking them up all by hand. Rather a tool or something I can build that can be used to separate the two.

Make you a seine. Some wire mesh the large enough to let sand fall thru but stop rocks. Nailed to some 2×4s you could have something to haul the rocks in. Won’t be too bad to dig I wouldn’t think.

they make rakes that you tow on your 4 wheeler tractor or any utility vehicle go rent one

Try a metal rake, not the kind you rake leaves with, they heavier one used for gardening, that will pick the rocks but allow the sand to stay put, it is also very zen to make patterns in the sand lol

Try a Root rake. It pulls behind a tractor. use the tractor hydro to lift rack to work them in a pile.
