You can place the rock in a vise; use a hammer and a chisel. Tap easily and I hope you can get the quartz out. You do know that they are not real diamonds but are quartz, don’t you? Some of these pieces are very gorgeous. If the rock is large sufficient and someone trusts you, they might can hold it even as you chisel. Hope this helps.
