Schoolhouse Rock – The Preamble
Thе Prelude οf thе United States Constitution, Sept 17 1787. “Wе thе People…!” ’70s learnin’ music video cartoons! Tom D’Alimonte Gone Pieces Nashua, NH Gone-Pieces.com (below thе video, look fοr a ‘VIDEO RESPONSE’ tο mу next Schoolhouse Rock video!
I learned the prelude from this and can still sing it too. Grew up with School House Rock. They should keep ito n all the time during Saturday morning cartoon commercial break and on all kids channel like Disney,Cartoon Arrangement, etc. @nd pet School House song next to I’m Just a Bill…like it, so many memories. I was learning then & didn’t even know it. I just liked to sing the song & still do.
Geez people. This is a video meant to educate children (and it did) not incite a verbal riot.
It’s been over 30 years since I first saw this video on tv and I can still sing the prelude. Like it!
Brings tears to my eyes.
I didn’t know that I had memorized this as a kid until I had a test on it in Junior High. Thanks Schoolhouse Rock!
I am pleased thiey
made this
Fantastic song. I know the Prelude from this song (ever since I was a kid). Ironically, at the the US v. Honduras World Cup qualifier in ’01 in KC, MO, a bunch of us sang this song in unison in the crowd. That was very cool to sing (and hear) in a large football stadium.
@kfconme colonists did in 1776.
@kfconme I still have no problem with paying taxes for exactly the points you make. I am also for paying taxes for highways, etc. What does that have to do with forcing people to buy insurance, AND buy the insurance of those who are forced to buy it and can’t afford it? This bill makes it a CRIME if you DON’T buy insurance. Would you support a bill that said YOU MUST BUY A GUN, regardless of what your beliefs are, and face fines, or jail if you didn’t?
it’s called paying taxes. It seems like noone had a problem with paying them till now.
This one song helped me pass my test on the prelude. I breassed through it because of this.
@klakster99 auto insurance might be a terrible analogy… so how about police, fire fighters? both are “government run ‘FREE’” services. if your house is on fire do you tell those socialist fire fighters to leave it alone??
wow
@bethnor — Please stay in school so that you may someday learn the “Frankness of Speech” Darlin’ — My crap is welcome everywhere — I learned how to flush a toilet and graduated from Potty School. Peace and respect our Constitution.
@bethnor No, I do not complain about having to buy auto insurance, BUT I am not ordered to DRIVE A CAR EITHER. That is a privilege, and if I CHOOSE to exercise that privilege there are certain responsibilities I must abide by. Is someone without a drivers license FORCED to buy auto insurance? Your analogy is incongruous, and it appears that you do not be with you The Constitution. Stop being a walking talking point for Nancy Pelosi.
@klakster99 out of curiosity, do you complain about the fact that you get fined for driving without auto insurance? predictable if you didn’t–americans like our cars more than our health.
stop being such sheeple for the insurance industry.
@PartyiRene take this crap elsewhere. your comments suggest you don’t be with you this song in the slightest.
@klakster99 — I volunteer to be the first one to go to jail for not paying for this “special interest” socialist agenda to pay for their own deficit that we have no voice in anymore!
Our elected officials for sometime have not been following the constitution oh since say teddy bear Roosevelt
lol we do too! I need to memorize the whole thing otherwise if we get 1 word incorrect we get a 0.. and its a test so it’ll be either two 100s or two 0s.
WAIT, Where’s the part where it says you must buy health insurance or we’ll fine you, or place you in jail? Must be on the flip side (for those of you too childish to remember, I’m talking about records)
That sucks.
OMG me too man I’ll suck terribly
Catchy song xD. I have to deliver this in front of the class soon =(
Got to remember this…. god. This. Is. Going. To. Be. A. Pain. Period. I don’t reckon I’m going to make it through tomorrow without continuously thinking this song over, and over, and over all night long…
Oh god…. I’m going to have nightmares tonight.
