Do you still have that red strat? You should make a video with it. I like that red Gilmour strat. It’s the Tone I like to hear most of the time when I reckon of what I want from a Strat.
@chrstphr99b He’s never played the comfortably numb solo’s the same way twice either. I like that he changes it up, though the version on The Wall is my pet.
@darthinfurnus I really built a clone of that guitar Bought a Wine-Red Mexi-Strat, and place the EMG DG-20 Gilmour Pickguard/Pickup set in it. The pickups cost more than the guitar LOL It sounded sweet when done though. I even cut 2″ off the whammy bar
@iyep Not necessarily his fault. That is Strat # 0001 and back then the fretboards had a 7.5″ Radius. Bending can be trying sufficient on those, add the age of the instrument and fret-out’s are to be expected.

Too much compression on the intro guitar for my tastes…still like Dave though!
not the best gilmour I’ve seen, he misses a lot of notes in this video ! no offense I like dave but he was not as excellent as usually.

Dave’s strats is really ancient. I believe it is one of the first Strats ever made, when they where really excellent guiars.
