My husband was asleep with his mouth open, so I put pop rocks in his mouth. He thought his tooth had broken!

I have two Red Eared Sliders (turtles) and they pee and poop in the water so it gets mixed in with the small aquarium rocks, or gravel. I want to know the best and most efficient way to thoroughly clean these when I change the water in my aquarium.

I’ve never found any fossils in shale before but maybe there’s a different type I should be looking in. In WV there’s mainly carniferous fossils found. But I don’t really know what type or types of sedimentary rocks are best to find them in.

When I bought my new little house the backyard is fully landscaped with little rocks in the side yard (area of about 12 x 6 feet ?? im really not good with estimating measurments). Anyway, I have called around to all the businesses and they won’t do it unless they can get a bobcat in here… well that’s not possible with the homeowner’s association. We have tried shoveling up the rocks, but we don’t have a truck right now. Any suggestions? We need to plant grass for my puppies!!!

I was in walmart yesterday and fell prey to this really cute supposed bonsai plant. I researched through the web and found out that it was in fact not a true bonsai, which i all ready suspected. But I bought it and I will take care of it. I read somewhere that because they glue these rocks on the top of the plant soil, it’s highly likely that the plant will die. So I want to get the rocks off and replant it in a little bigger pot with better soil, but the rocks are really on there. what is the best way to do this.

What types of rocks best resist all types of weathering? How visible are they in the landscape?

This is what happen. I have a pool in my backyard. The pervious owners broke a oval circle in the concrete to install the pool on the dirty instead of just installing it on top of the concrete. So I have a gap between the pool and the rest of the concrete. So when it rains the water just backs up in that gap instead of heading to the drains on both sides of the pool. Anyone know if I can fill that gap with rocks and hope the water will go towards the drains? If not rocks anyone have any ideas what I can do?

I am looking for a clay that is smooth and plastic, the pottery clay at school seems more sticky and gritty then I want for making realistic sculptures. So what kind of clay is best for realistic detailed sculptures?
