All Gym Leaders now have 6 pokemon so you have the chance of getting all that EXP, anyway the pokemon you need to look out for here is that Vulpix, it has Hypnosis and Confuse Ray which can really piss you off. But I was so suprised of that Onix which took FOUR minutes to take down, it is basically a swagger noob who trys to win by being as cheap as you get, but it got owned by a bird pokemon which is weak to rock types. Serious EXP happens with these battles as you saw my Treecko was Lv13 and by the time it had finished it evolved into Grovyle

Is that a Pokemon anime episode title? It sounds like it would be one. And it barely even makes any sense in regards to this segment (unless you twist it to mean that I’m chipping off pieces of his rock types or something), but I had a hell of a time thinking of a better title. Which is quite fitting really, because I had a hell of a time winning this battle. I expected it to be kinda hard, but Jesus, I thought I was prepared well enough.

Pokemon Leaf Green Omega Rock Only Challenge Part 4: Heidi 3

I don’t know why I’m recording these battles, Heidi’s team hasn’t changed from the original Leaf Green, and his Wartortle’s still his only dangerous team member. Short battle, first attempt. But Misty’s a different story. I’ve done some calculations, and Starmie (Yes, she still has the god damn thing) will always do at least 211 damage to Atlas with Water Pulse. So I’ve got to get a little bit creative. I can’t catch any other Rock types yet, and why do Sandshrew’s in Emerald have Quick Claws, but not the ones in Leaf Green? Starmie’s genderless, so Attract won’t help either, and Atlas doesn’t learn any Speed enhancing moves (I want Rock Polish D:). X Speeds aren’t available yet either. So I’ll either have to cheat, or use one of my other pokemon to lower it’s Accuracy or Speed. This battle will be one of the hardest in this challenge, and I’m very sorry if I don’t follow my own rules for this one.
